First, Brady had his Christmas band concert. It was just wonderful - it always amazes me how talented these middle school kids are! They played Black Horse Troop, Holly and Ivy, and Celtic Carol, and sounded just wonderful.
And what fun would it be if I didn't force them to pose for a picture together?
On Saturday, Brady and his band were off to see Dickens' A Christmas Carol at the Alley Theater, so it was just the four of us off to the Sugar Land town square for a bit of Christmas dancing!
KC is part of the junior dance company, and they performed part of Rythm bandits, which will be their competition dance in March in Dallas.
Abby's jazz class performed, Why can't it be Christmas every day?
The girls were so cold in their dance clothes! They huddled offstage to try to keep out of the wind:
Of course I realize that my cousins in Boston got 10+ inches of snow on Friday, and heavens knows how much on Saturday (sorry, Chris!) but by our standards, it was frostbite city - 46 degrees!!
